Snowsong was surprised to see Ashpaw topple over before she was close to her. She was about to slow down when Ashpaw got up, but she swiftly refused. She continued to dash at Ashpaw.
As Ashpaw whisked around, Snowsong was slightly taken by surprise, finding herself face to face with Ashpaw so closely. But her gaze didn't show it, and, in a split second, her right fore paw soared up at Ashpaw's face from below, aiming to whack her off balance.

Snowsong's attack worked, and Ashpaw once more toppled over backwards into the forest floor. It was only then that she began to realize how utterly exhausted she was. She slowly got back on her paws and then looked at Snowsong. "I'm sorry, I'm just really tired. I'm not used to fighting this much."
She hoped Snowsong wouldn't be dissapointed, but if Ashpaw wanted to be honest, she herself was dissapointed. It felt good to be out in the forest training. "Maybe we can do it again soon?" Ashpaw s uggested hopefully.

Snowsong broke from her fighting position, and she got into her usual position on her paws. She nodded at Ashpaw. "Let's go back to camp and let you get some rest...." Her muscles relaxed. Though she was disappointed only a speck, she hoped to be able to spend time with Ashpaw more. The apprentice was quite enjoyable to be around.
Snowsong turned around slowly. She turned her gaze back to check if Ashpaw was following before she turned around completely. She then began to pad off toward camp. Perhaps she would be able to find a place where she could be alone in camp.
