Once upon a time, or so the legends say, there were four Clans. They lived in peace and equality for generations, IvoryClan and three others, whose names are now long forgotten in the dust. Until one day -- one day there was a leader who closed his ears to StarClan and began tailoring Clan life to his own ideas of how things should run. The medicine cat, the ancestor-loyal cats cried out, but he ceased to hear them as well; and it was not a sudden, tyrannical change, but minor things growing gradually, that he would be able to carry them all out with none the wiser.
For well or evil, he underestimated the cleverness and might of the other three Clans. They were worried by these changes, that made him ruler and afforded no one else credit -- save, perhaps, as useful bodies -- and attempted to reason with the leader. His ears, closed already to StarClan and his own Clanmates, took in not a word of what they said. Driven to no other choice, the three Clans expelled IvoryClan from their midst, and began many moons of wandering.
Alas, this could not stop the corruption that had begun. The Clan found a new place, a safe place, and the leader passed the line on not to his deputy, as was proper, but his son. This is a tradition that has continued for many moons...♠♠♠
But now StarClan, long quiet after vain attempts to reach their family, has begun to stir once more. The leader is weak, his mind feeble -- it would take only a small push to drive him over the edge, and thus put a new leader in power to end the corruption, before it is too late.For, if the Clan does not hear their ancestors soon, StarClan will be lost to them forever.
The only thing that remains is to find the right warrior to carry this plan out... But Who?
