Đarκsong
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. Martin Luther King Jr.
I am a little bit of loneliness
A little bit of disregard
Handful of complaints
But I can't help the fact
That everybody can see these scars
I am what I want you to want
What I want you to feel
But it's like no matter what I do
I can't convince you
To just believe this is real
So I let go
Watching you turn your back like you always do
Face away and pretend that I'm not
But I'll be here cause you're all that I've got
I can't feel the way I did before
Don't turn your back on me
I won't be ignored
Time won't heal this damage anymore
Don't turn your back on me
I won't be ignored

History
Darksong and his brother Mothflight were born during the night, the kind of dark and dreary night that gave you an eerie feeling. Their mother, Pantherheart, died soon after kitting. Tornspirit was so broken hearted about losing his mate that he blamed her death on the kits and constantly reminded them of her fate. Soon after they were apprenticed, Tornspirit went mad and attacked Darksong (then Darkpaw). Tornspirit was banished from the clan for his crimes, and was found dead soon after.
Darksong vowed to never be like his father, yet everyday he could feel himself becoming more and more like him. No one else thought he was, but deep down he knew that he was destined to be like Tornspirit. Living with these thoughts turned him into a standoffish and awkward warrior. He feels as though everyone is constantly judging him and avoids every social interaction he can.
................................
Since Then...
Darksong trained his first apprentice, even though he's not the most desirable mentor. She apparently was trained well enough though, since she now is a warrior named Ashcloud. This situation makes Darksong once again wonder if Patchstar is completely insane.
He also fell in love with Rainclaw, a cat he used to aggravate often.....
................................
Companionship.
Mothflight - Darksong's brother and one of the only cats he trusts. They are together a lot of the time, although it's obvious Mothflight would rather hang around someone else.
Ashcloud - He is rather fond of his former apprentice, although he often mentions to others that she's a pansy.
Rainclaw - Darksong has completely fallen for her. Yet, because of his lack of social skills, he doesn't show it often.
Enmity.
Secret - Darksong absolutely hates his uncle.
Darkmoon - He hates his cat's arrogance and attitude completely. If given the chance, Darksong might rip him to shreds.
Patchstar - He has no respect for the clan leader and often insults him. There is no cat he hates more than the pudgy leader.
Goldenleaf - Of course Darksong hates the 'cat' who attacked Rainclaw and Rippedheart. The only cat he hates more is Patchstar.
Silverdust - Darksong thinks she is the most annoying she-cat in the entire clan.
Moonwhisker - He considers her to be Patchstar's servant, thus he hates her as well.
Otherwise known.
Nightpaw - Darksong thinks he is a mouse-brained fool.
Rippedheart - Darksong doesn't care much for Rainclaw's brother, and thinks he's wimpy and annoying.
Carmeltail - Since she is Rainclaw's mother, Darksong tries his best to be friendly towards this particular elder.
Gingerpaw - Darksong barely knows his new apprentice.
Risingdawn - He really has no opinion of this tom, but since he is Silverdust's brother Darksong has a tendency to dislike him.
Snowsong - Darksong doesn't really know this she-cat too well.

Rubbish Cow
Darkpaw quietly padded back into camp, his head hung low. He glanced around suspiciously as he walked over to the fresh-kill pile to drop off a vole he had caught. He was instructed to bring it to the Elders, but there was no way Darkpaw would go to the Elders' Den. Tornspirit was now an Elder. The apprentice was not in the mood for his father's insults.
He made his way towards the Apprentices' Den, hoping to get some rest. Darkpaw still kept his head low, and stay focused on his breathing and the sound of his pawsteps. The sound of a shrill voice made him stop cold. His heart pounded in his chest.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Darkpaw didn't even turn to look at his father, "I just wanted to take a small nap, that's all.
"Look at me when I'm talking to you!" Tornspirit growled.
Darkpaw slowly turned to face his father. He was trembling all over. "Father, I was just...." He began to say.
Tornspirit didn't even allow his son to finish before pouncing on him. Darkpaw fought back as hard as he could, but his father's size alone was too much for him.
A Warrior then came over, hearing the fight, and wrestled Tornspirit off the apprentice. Darkpaw ran into the Apprentice Den, tears and blood blinding his eyes.
