ooc;// Ren actually gave me permission to power play Patchy x]
Moonwhisker let a breath escape her lips as she poked her head inside Patchstar's den. "Patchstar, would you like me to do Ashpaw's warrior ceremony?" she meowed calmly. She walked inside of his den and looked at him. The den was a bit stuffy, and it smelled a bit.
The old spotted cat looked up, confused. "Ashpaw? Didn't he die?" he asked, looking at his deputy. Moonwhisker shook her head and sighed. "No Patchstar, Ashpaw is very much alive and she is ready to become a warrior," she meowed. She wasn't surprised by his lack of memory, he had been doing this for days. He hadn't left his den in over five moonrises. Technically, he was sick, right?
"So, do you want to do the ceremony?" she meowed, repeating herself. "For who?" "Ashpaw!" "Oh... nah. I don't really feel like it. You can though," the cat meowed, rolling onto his back. "Well, alright. If you say so..." she meowed, her voice trailing off.
She shook her head once again, and headed outside to the big rock that was placed in the middle of the river that flowed through the camp. She lept atop it in one leap, and pushed all nervous thoughts to the back of her head. Then, she raised her meow as loud as she could, "May all cats old enough to catch their own prey please join me here for a Clan meeting!"

Darksong was expecting the meeting, yes, but wasn't expecting Moonwhisker to do it. He was actually a bit disappointed. He was looking forward to seeing Patchstar say stupid things in public. It would add more fuel to Darksong's opinion that he was completely insane. He walked over to where the big rock in the river was, and sat near its bank. Darksong had no idea what he was suppose to do, just like everytime he had trained Ashpaw. He was shocked that she would actually become a warrior.

Swiftflame trotted briskly out into the open, only slight surprise showing on her face. After all, Patchstar was quite sick, and probably wasn't up to naming warriors. In the place of surprise was pure happiness. One of her best friends was finally becoming a warrior, something she had long deserved in spite of her slightly lacking fighting skills. Was that really important? What was threatening IvoryClan that had to be fought? Trotting over to sit by Darksong, Swiftflame gazed almost proudly at the mature looking apprentice. It was finally time for her friend to become a warrior.

At the yowl call for a Clan meeting, Snowsong's ears pricked up. Her shadowed figure within the warriors' den shifted, and then got to her paws. She padded toward the entrance of the den after rasping her tongue over her chest a couple of times. Her figure soon emerged from the entrance, and her figure delicately weaved through those of the cats that were gathering to get to a clear corner. She reached that area, and then settled down, her gaze ascending to Moonwhisker and her tail wrapping neatly around her paws.

Ashpaw's jet black pelt emerged from the apprentice's den, possibly for the last time. She felt herself shaking with nervousness, but she tried her best to hide it; warriors didn't get nervous at ceremonies. However her excitement was too much and she quickly made her way to a spot to wards the front of the crowd of cats. As her icy blue eyes scanned the crowd she felt as if every eye in the clan was on her and she tried her best to shake the feeling off. This was possibly going to be one of the greatest days of her life, and she had to act like a warrior, especially if she was going to become one.

Rainclaw and Rippedheart made their way over to the rock. In between them walked their mother, Carmeltail. "Why do I have to watch this? Stupid cats don't give a rat's tail about the fleas in my pelt..." she muttered. Rainclaw rolled her eyes. "Because mom, it's important that we watch Ashpaw on her important day," Rippedheart calmly meowed, he put his tail over her mouth before she could bark back a comeback. Dewkit, also hurried outwards towards the middle of the camp. She was very excited, for this was her first warrior ceremony.
Moonwhisker saw cats coming, she breathed nervously and looked at Ashpaw. "Ashpaw, please come up here." As the black apprentice came up to the rock, she bowed her head in a greeting, then started the ceremony.
"I, Moonwhisker, deputy of IvoryClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Ashpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Moonwhisker could barley believe she'd remembered the mouthful of words.

Snowsong's ears pricked as Ashpaw launched herself onto the rock. Her gaze rested upon both Moonwhisker and Ashpaw, though, the majority upon Ashpaw. An apprentice being made a warrior yet again; such an honor. She could almost feel, or so her mind believed and her heart didn't, the excitement and nervousness that had engulfed her when she had been made a warrior. She flicked her tail slightly, soon breaking from her memories, and then concentrating upon the ceremony.
Paintedkit had a light smile playing upon his lips as he stood at the entrance of the medicine cat's den. He was almost completely healed, and he was glad he was able to pad a few steps out of the den entrance without getting scolded and herded back into the den. His gaze rested with excitement and happiness for Ashpaw as it shimmered with his own excitement of witnessing his first warrior ceremony. It all seemed such an honor, he couldn't wait!

Ashpaw dashed up to meet Moonwhisker, realizing afterward that a slower, more dignified walk would have been more warrior-like, but it was too late for that now. As Moonwhisker said the words that Ashpaw had heard few times before she silently urged the deputy to say it faster, as if taking just a few seconds longer could end up costing her the whole ceremony. She barely even noticed that the deputy was giving her ceremony instead of Patchstar, the clan leader. As Moonwhisker finished the words that had been spoken so many times, by so many leader, and as every eye in camp seemed to sear into Ashpaw's pelt, the black apprentice took a deep breath. Here it was, her moment, her day, this was all she had ever wanted. "I do." Her voice was strong enough to be heard by all the clan, and didn't shake at all. Ashpaw had never been so sure about her future in Ivoryclan.

Darksong couldn't really help but be proud of Ashpaw. Well, she had survived him long enough to become a warrior. Quite an accomplishment. He tried his best and taught her what he could. If Patchstar had been in his right mind, she probably wouldn't have been his apprentice. Darksong figured it was ok though, for he learned quite a bit from her. Probably more than she learned from him.

Moonwhisker smiled proudly. "Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Ashpaw, from this moment you will be known as Ashcloud. StarClan honors your bravery and courage, and we welcome you as a full member of IvoryClan," she stopped to breathe, then added, "You've showed me myself that you are fit to be a warrior. When Swiftflame was poisoned by prey, you acted extremely responsible and I'm happy to say that I am very proud of your accomplishments," she finished.
Rainclaw nodded in respect, and joined in with her mother and brother as they chanted, "Ashcloud! Ashcloud!" Dewkit looked around, not sure what to do. She saw everyone chanting so she joined in.

Ashcloud had never been so happy in her short life. She was absorbed in the clan, who were all chanting her new name and then began repeating it quietly to herself "Ashcloud, Ashcloud." It felt strange on her tongue. It was funny that she had almost totally forgotten about getting a new name. Sure, she hadn't expected to go by Ashpaw forever, but the new name made her realize how real this moment was. As if she was a new cat, forever changed by her warrior ceremony. Of course she felt like a new cat too, she was a new cat in a sense. She was a warrior now. She was Ashcloud.

(( ;; I thought I played Paintedkit, Meppers. ))
Snowsong waited for the Clan to chant Ashpaw's new name, Ashcloud, twice before joining in with a few yowls herself. They weren't as loud as the others', but they were loud enough to blend in. She held her head high for the last yowl, "Ashcloud!" It was all the emotion she desired to insert into it, and then her head slightly descended to its usual position. Though her yowling ceased early like usual, her gaze had a hint of congratulations for Ashcloud.
Paintedkit noticed that Snowsong's rare yowling had ceased a few yowls early, but he continued to yowl proudly and gladly. "Ashcloud, Ashcloud!" He was proud of her, even if he barely knew much about her, and his gaze shimmered that message. There was a new warrior in the Clan, and now he knew how it would likely feel when he too would be granted his warrior name.

Flowerpelt woke up, a panicked expression on her face. She nudged Silverstripe. "Double S, wake up! You're missing Ashpaw, sorry, Ashcloud's warrior ceremony!" Silverstripe blinked. "Pah. What do I care?" But he got up anyway, following Flowerpelt as she dashed off. "Ashcloud!" "Ashcloud." "Ashcloud!" "Ashcloud." Silverstripe was even more grumpy than usual, since he had been woken up, but he yowled the new warrior's name with everybody else. Flowerpelt nudged him playfully. He moved away. Quietly, he muttered, "Wish you wouldn't do that." Raising his voice again, he began chanting the new warrior's name again. "Ashcloud."
