Ripplepaw smiled at the other apprentice, "Yes, I would like that." Nothing like a walk through the forest in the evening to calm his nerves. Besides, maybe if he picked up some herbs it would make up for the fact that he hadn't helped Arcticpool earlier today. He slowly got to his paws, shaking off the dust from the camp floor that clung to his pelt. "While we're out there maybe we can look for catnip, I think Arcticpool was running out."

Gingerpaw nodded, and then padded to the exit of Camp. "We could have some fun out there too." With that, she began to blissfully pad, and kinda skip, out into the forest. Her tail was held high, and her paw-steps were delicate and excited.
(( No muse. Should I make a new thread, or should we stay here? ))

Ripplepaw followed Gingerpaw toward the camp entrance. He couldn't remember the last time he had gone out into the forest with someone his own age, usually it was Arcticpool or a warrior who was helpin him gather herbs. He hadn't realized until Gingerpaw had spoken to him how much he was isolated from the other apprentices. He had also never realized how nice it was to be with cats closer to his age, not having to be quite as mature all the time. [I'm thinking we should start a new thread. It's less confusing that way.]
