"We're able to sneak out into the forest right now! Get your lazy bums out here! If you come out too late, follow Rainkit and my scent trail!"
Maskkit looked up. "Mmm..." He blinked a few times, then came fully awake. He squeezed out of the nursery, gasping a little at the shock of the cold air. Paintedkit had already run off. He followed to find the rest of the kits milling about. "You mean we get to go play in the forest? What are we waiting for?" He bounced about, unable to contain his excitement.

Angelkit's eyes gleamed with excitement, but she tried to stay cool at the same time. After at least half of the nursery seemed to be assembled and ready to go she spoke up, "Well everyone's here right? Let's go quick before the queens notice that the nursery is almost empty!" She lashed her tail back and forth impatiently. She didn't want to get caught here and never make it out into the forest. Especially when she was the one who got Purplekit to declare to them all that he was going out into the forest. She let her eyes wander from each kit to the next, hoping that none of them would delay any longer.

Seeing that everyone else was ready and willing, Purplekit darted off towards the forest...
