Risingdawn smiled wryly and moved closer to Snowsong, eyes on the water; Silverdust watched him intently, presumably so that she could catch more of his fish. "Nice catch. I still owe you a forfeit for last time, don't I?" the tom murmured to Snowsong, ignoring his sister's stare.
"Ah --" He'd seen a fish -- and it was a big bugger, too. Big and slow -- his paw flashed out --
And Silv slammed him into his mate, ducking her entire head underwater and coming up with the biggest fish Riss had ever -- well -- not caught.
"GOT IT!"
Risingdawn untangled himself from Snowsong with embarrassed apologies, glaring at his sister. "Are you going to do that every time?" he demanded irritably.
"Yes."

"Indeed, I believe you do," Snowsong murmured as Risingdawn spoke to her about the previous time.
She stifled a shocked meow as he was slammed into her by his sister, and she staggered backward, managing to keep herself from toppling backward. Once the tom untangled himself from her, she allowed a faint chuckle to escape her lips. "It's alright," she mumbled quietly.
Another faint chuckle escaped her soon after. It was humorous to watch the two siblings show their rivalry.
She shifted her maw to his ear, and she whispered, "Don't worry. Let's work together to get more than everyone else." A light smile played upon her lips, and she took a few paw-steps back, her lobes slightly pricked with some enthusiasm.
Through the corner of her orbs, she spotted a couple more fish, and both her paws shot out, smacking both fish out of the water, and both toward the pale ginger tom. "Heads up," she whispered, and her orbs drifted to their corners again, watching for more fish.

Rippedheart and Rainclaw both laughed at Silverdust and Rissingdawn's usual sibling behavior. Rainclaw smiled more at Snowsong and Rissingdawn.
Rippedheart looked up at Silverdust and a sudden thought entered his smartified brain. You know, I never really thought about it, but Silverdust is really pretty... he thought, looking away from her.
Rainclaw was busy attempting to catch the fish Snowsong had warned them about. Her paw shot out like lightning and her talons attached to the fish as she pulled it out of the water. "Number one for me," she meowed, putting the dead fish next to her.

Silverdust had been watching Risingdawn intently once more, but was distracted by a prickling on the back of her neck. Confused, she spun around, to see Rippedheart just looking away from her.
The outcome of that was fairly predictable.
The she-cat leapt around Rainclaw, sticking her face into Rippedheart's.
"Why ya staring at me?" she questioned in a singsong, at her most annoying.
Risingdawn grabbed at the moment; his paw flashed out, one-two, to catch the fish Snowsong had directed his way and throw them out of the water. Silverdust turned around just as they flew onto the bank, and let out a yelp of protest.
"Hey! No fair! I wasn't looking!"
"All's fair in love and war," Risingdawn retorted with better humor than usual; then, because Silv was watching him, he whispered in Snowsong's ear, "There's a big one coming. You get it -- Silv's looking at me."

A light smile played upon her lips as Risingdawn caught a fish, and Snowsong allowed a faint chuckle to escape her lips as Silverdust began to get annoying with someone else. She then slightly chuckled again as the she-cat protested, and then flicked her orbs to their corners as her mate told her that there was a large fish approaching.
She then whipped around, her paws a blur, managing to smack the fish to stun it, and then her other paw's claws snagged onto it. She then pulled it swiftly out of the water, allowing it to flip in midair, and then she closed her jaws onto it, before tossing it to the pile, a slightly larger smile playing upon her lips.

Darksong padded back to the sands, in disbelief at what he was doing. He hated social situations. Then again, he hated Mothflight's moodiness more. It was becoming increasingly difficult to put up with.
He padded over to Rainclaw and began explaining himself, "Mothflight was being all-" Darksong hissed to demonstrate "-and acting like I wasn't suppose to be in camp at the same time as him, so I said screw that jerk and came back."
Well, it was a bit more complicated than that. They didn't need to know the details though. He purred a bit as he sat next to Rainclaw, and looked into the water with no intention of catching anything.

"I was, um.. um.." He paused, his brain thinking rapidly for a response. "I was looking at the water?" he attempted, blushing as he realized it sounded like a question. He shuffled his paws.
Rainclaw was a bit startled when Darksong returned. She nodded, "I'm happy your back," she meowed. A shiver ran up her spine as she herd him purr. Rainclaw surprised herself by purring back. She touched noses affectionately with him.

"You're a really bad liar, yanno," Silv told Rippedheart conversationally. "You shouldn't -- OH LOOK HE'S BACK! HI DARKSONG -- lie to me. Help me catch more fish than the lovebirds and I'll not be mad at you, 'kay?"
Risingdawn grinned at Snowsong. "Nice catch," he complimented; glancing out of the corner of his eye, he realized Silverdust wasn't looking at them anymore. "Okay...gotta catch another one quick..." He scanned the water, seeing no fish.

Another faint chuckle escaped Snowsong as she listened to Rippedheart and Silverdust, and her smile almost slightly grew as her orbs caught a glimpse of Darksong and Rainclaw were socializing and showing affection.
She then allowed her orbs to flick to Risingdawn as he complimented her, "Thanks," she said with a slightly brighter smile. She then glanced at the waters as he spoke about needing to catch more fish. Her orbs darted swiftly around the waters, and she found another large fish.
She hindered her lobes from pricking up, "I found one, let me get it towards you," she whispered. She then silently crept to behind the fish, and then gently sent ripples through the water toward the fish as she prodded the surface.
She spotted a smaller fish, and her paw shot out. She was surprised at how light it was, and she was about to inform Risingdawn about it, when she saw the larger fish begin to swim toward him. And so, coiling her muscles, she dashed toward her minuscule fish that was heading toward her mate, and she managed to close her jaws onto its fin, and skid to a halt, about a couple of tail-lengths from the tom. A nervous smile played upon her lips, and then she tossed the smaller fish into the pile.

To say the least, Darksong didn't like Silverdust. She was rather...annoying. "Hi, Silverdust..." He said, groaning. He had the urge to say something rude and insulting to her, but held back. Perhaps something like I wish I was that happy to see you!
Darksong stared into the water absentmindedly. He felt so awkward that he didn't know what to do. He simply moved closer to Rainclaw, making it so their pelts were touching.

Rippedheart shook his head eagerly, happy that the silver she-cat had already seemed to have forgotten his awkward staring. "Alright, lets do this," he meowed, moving closer to the water's edge, peeking his head over in hopes that some stupid fish would come jump into his hand.
Rainclaw was beaming. Which was not normal for the stone-faced-expression she-cat. It felt like her heart was going a million beats per second, each beat was, 'Darksong Darksong Darksong Darksong'. She looked over at him, "I love you," she whispered, not realizing what she'd said until it was gone out of her mouth. A hint of fear flashed into her eyes, what was said was said but what Darksong was going to say was a mystery.

Silverdust had to stifle a giggle at the sight of Rippedheart, peering over the edge; she had a wild urge to slam into his tail and see how much of him would land in the water. Unfortunately, that probably wasn't a good idea -- then Rippy wouldn't help her fish and she'd be drowned in mush after Snowsong and Risingdawn "won."
Even as she watched, Snowsong skidded close to Riss, sticking her face in the water to catch yet another one. Even as she did so she saw her brother's paw flash out, and lunged.
Risingdawn watched as Snowsong encouraged a fish to swim in his direction; he tensed, paw ready, as the big fish came towards him.
But then Snowsong lunged towards him -- Riss jumped, startled, and looked at her -- realized why she had done it --
Too late, he struck out to catch his own fish. He just missed its silvery tail as, frightened, it flicked away from shore.
A moment later, all he could see was silvery tail.
"GOT IT!"
Silverdust had pounced on top of her brother, aiming for the fish; the tom let out an "oof" and collapsed underneath her weight. Confused, the she-cat scanned the water.
"Where'd it go?"
"Silv, get off me."
"But where'd it -- YEOWCH!"
Looking offended, Silv sprang off her brother, and Risingdawn let her tail fly out of his mouth. "Go flirt with Rip," he ordered irritably, getting to his paws.
"I do NOT flirt!"
"All right, go push him in the water then."
"Hmph, fine." Silv snuck over behind the tom and, to prove her point, pounced at him with a wild war cry, hoping to scare him into the water.

Darksong had been purring steadily, ignoring all the other cats around. If he didn't, he probably would have left by now. His purring stopped short at the words Rainclaw whispered to him. He felt as though his heart had even stopped beating for a moment.
Of course he did feel the same way about her, but did he have the guts to say it? It wasn't a matter of if he could though. It was a matter of he had to. Darksong couldn't just turn her down because was too afraid to say how he felt.
"I....I love you too." He finally whispered back.

She couldn't help but stifle a chuckle as Silverdust landed on top of Risingdawn, and Snowsong took several steps back so she wouldn't be one to get involved. She wasn't disappointed in her mate losing the fish, for it was her fault she made him jump, but she couldn't bring herself to actually care if he missed it; everyone made mistakes.
But she'd gladly snatch away their fish, if she could find it. I suppose I do go slightly overboard when fishing, like you commented the first time we met, Risingdawn.. She padded swiftly over to the shore.
Her orbs darted swiftly, catching onto a silver flicker in the waters. Muscles coiled, she launched herself into the water, her paws landing right in the fish's middle, and then she swiftly whipped around, in near midair, and launched herself onto the shore, the fish now dangling from her jaws. She tossed it into the pile, and then padded a few feet away from everybody.
She hoped that the fish would come back with her swift dash out of the water, just in hopes that they thought the danger was past. Within the shadows of the undergrowth, she shook her figure, getting at least some of the water off, despite it not helping much. With a faint sigh, she padded back over to Risingdawn, a smile upon her lips as she realized Silverdust had attempted to scare Rippedheart into the waters.

Rainclaw smiled warmly. "That's good," she looked at the ground. She wanted to tell him, she had to tell him.
It was his right to know. She lowered her voice to an extremely low whisper. "Um, I think I'm... expecting," she meowed.
Rippedheart had his eyes on a rather large fish when he was startled by a loud yowl from the only cat whose voice would produce such a noise. He yowled in surprise as he fell forward into the ocean.
He sighed with annoyance as he dragged himself back to dry land, where sand clung to his pelt. "Now I'm wet, it's payback time!" He meowed, attempting to playfully push Silverdust into the water.
