Canary lounged about on the fence that enclosed the garden of the twoleg nest. Her gray splotched tail waved slowly back and forth in front of the white painted wood like a pendulum, counting the moments of the day she was wasting away. Her amber eyes were half closed, struggling to stay awake as the mid afternoon sun warmed her white pelt.
The young she-cat was excessively bored. Hardly anything interesting had happened to her since many moons ago when she and Ghost had attempted to join IvoryClan. Well, she supposed the skimishes her brother was constantly in were mildly entertaining.
Thus now she sat, hoping something would happen before she drifted to sleep. Anything would do. She'd take a friend or an enemy, a pleasant conversation or a heated argument. Canary longed to sneak out of the redundant life she was living. Mostly, she longed for a different companion outside of her angsty brother.

Boredom. Such an enemy, especially when you were a rogue who loved to frame, fight, and mostly kill. Life was dull, in those eerily clear, silver eyes, until there was a thrill entering it. As of now, it was all just a mere wish away. Impossible or not, it was still a wish; just a simple wish away... Now, it would work better if the tom wished, if he knew how to hope that wishes were to come true, if he didn't believe that wishes were merely desires of fantasy giving off false hope. But, what rogue would wish, let alone an evil mastermind like rogue?
Ebony pelt smooth yet somewhat messy, Demon made his steady, silent way around, scanning his surroundings from time to time. Tail flicking, almost ticking, he held it somewhat high, ignoring the warmth of the sun as its rays beat upon his pelt. Oddly, his coat seemed to shimmer, as if wet, in the sunlight, yet it was completely dry. It seemed traitorous, as if showing fashion and cleanliness were in his liking. He inwardly scoffed at that.
Still silent as ever, he padded to the Two Leg Place, glancing around as he flicked his lobes. His fair lips, dulled by boredom, soon gradually creased into a smirk at the sight of a lone feminine. Now, there was something he could play with, and perhaps kill. Keeping his act on, he began to pad toward her, pausing several tail-lengths away. "Greetings, beautiful being." His mischievous evil wasn't given a way the slightest bit.

Canary's eyes snapped open at the sound of another cat's voice. She turned to see the tom, one with a black pelt that shimmered in the sunlight. His tone was nice enough, plus she had never seen him around before. She decided to respond, jumping down from the fence to meet him face to face.
Her ears turned back in flirty embarrassment, she mewed; "Hello, I'm Canary."

"Hello, I'm Canary."
The ebony masculine could not keep his smirk from growing somewhat; the way her lobes shifted backward, seeming embarrassed, amused him. This wouldn't be such a bad afternoon after all; flirting, was it considered? Well, he supposed his words always caught a feminine's attention, going either way, good or bad. It was useful.
"A pleasure to meet someone as beautiful as you." His lobes flicked, and his clear silvers flashed. Demon leaped onto a fence, glancing down at Canary, before he launched himself to beside her, a grin beginning to lift his features. "Tell me; what is a beauty like you doing here at this moment?"

Canary watched Demon's movements in awe. She couldn't take her amber eyes off him as he leaped on and off the fence. His muscles moved so gracefully and beautifully underneath his dark pelt that it was mesmerizing. She was so preoccupied in watching his mouth move as he spoke that her response to his question was delayed for a few awkward moments, counted by the nervous pounding of her heart.
"Oh, I was just waiting for another feline to come along and make my day more interesting....." As Canary spoke, she slowly padded around Demon. Her soft pelt barely brushed against his flank as she passed and her tail flicked onto his back. Muzzle almost touching his ear, she muttered, "What shall I call you?"

Obviously, he was aware of her watching his every movement, watching every second of him, as he approached her. Inwardly, he grinned almost toothily. She would be an easy victim, simple. Perhaps she would be his first sexual target. No. She would be the first victim he would break their heart; or their desires. As long as he left scars, severe scars, he would be satisfied, even if it didn't last too long.
"Oh, I was just waiting for another feline to come along and make my day more interesting....."
The ebony tom's mischievous grin grew somewhat, before he cleansed his facial features of any mischief and evil, an inaudible sigh slipping through his lips. "So, am I the desired feline?" His grin began to develop again, only softer as he watched her, without showing a single sign of interest. Best to get them moving, working, he was taught.
And Canary began to proceed into that trap he was beginning to set. It would spring sometime during this encounter, pretty soon; he was confident. As she seemed to flirt with him, his grin grew somewhat more, and as she shifted her her muzzle to nearly touch his lobe, he waited a moment.
"What shall I call you?"
Now. Without a warning, his lobes flicked, and he took a step from her, shifting so suddenly, with such stealth and silence, so that his nose would nearly touch hers. "My name?" he whispered, deathly attractive. "Call me," he paused to flick his tail over hers, "Demon." His silvers gleamed, his breath brushing onto her whiskers, seeming to challenge her to close the gap, barely there between their maws.

Canary's heart pounded loudly in her chest as the tom spoke to her. She cringed a bit as she heard his name; Demon. She did not expect such a name for this particular cat. Shrugging it off as a misnomer, she was brought back to reality by how close he was to her. Their muzzles were nearly touching.
Her breathing became heavy as she debated on what to do. Should she accept this clear invitation, or play a bit more hard-to-get? She gazed curiously into his eyes, then for a split second allowed her nose to touch his. Turning away, she shyly took a few steps away from Demon.

As striking silver stared into dull amber, concealed mischief nearly escaped, but the ebony masculine had caught it just in time. The feminine seemed a wonderful target, already walking directly into his trap as he watched the varying sparkles as her thoughts seemed to whir. Inwardly, he sneered with evil, but his exterior only allowed a soft, nearly toothy grin as he twitched his whiskers. This was going to be easy.
Abruptly, without warning at all, Demon felt Canary's muzzle against his, for a split second. In that split second, he twitched his whiskers again, allowing them to shift together for a moment, before he held his position and location as she shied a few steps away. His grin remained even, despite the fact that there was mischief and evil intentions behind the outside.
Still smiling the best dazzling smile he could manage without making it shaky, he stealthily, gracefully slipped almost fluidly to her side, allowing their flanks to tingle; they did not touch, but the air resistance easily caused their fur to be disturbed, as if they were being touched by invisible fingers. Still careful, he stepped in front of her, taking a several steps forward before pausing, back turned to her.
"You know, if I'm making you uncomfortable..," he paused to allow her time to jump to conclusions; his voice was innocent, the dark intentions behind them undetectable. After a few moments, he glanced through the corner of his eyes. "Hm, you decide if I remain or leave." He cast her a dashing smile, the glint in his pools skillfully concealed.

Canary felt as if her heart skipped a beat when she watched him walk away. To his inquiry, she answered, "No, of course not.....please stay..." She then padded up to his side and purred gently as she looked up at him. Canary knew that if her brother found out about her hanging around a strange tom he would be angry. Sure, she was a bit naive, but this tom seemed save to her. His gaze and movements were so soft and charming.
((ooc: I know this is kinda a sucky post, but I thought I should put something up and try to bring this back to life lol))

"No, of course not..... please stay..."
Demon could not help but allow a smile to tug at the corners of his lips. He had entrapped her already; then again, she seemed so naive, it was no surprise. There was no difficulty in figuring out that it certainly wouldn't have taken much longer - nor much more - to grasp her liking, to trap her.
Gathering up a charming voice, he replied, "As you wish." Then, immediately after, he cast her a most dazzling smile.
He heard her purrs, and he saw the admiration in her eyes. It all became extremely clear when she glanced up at him; he knew he was already securing his trap for this one. Oh, how good it felt; but his thirst was not quite yet satisfied.
"So, my pretty..," he tilted his head so that it was a centimeter away from closing the gap between his and Canary's muzzles. "Is this the interest you wish for?"

It was hard, wearing two soul necklaces. They were heavy, a burden on his neck, and clanged together whenever he moved, announcing his presence. His old necklace had a charm of wood, soft and light, but the new one was metal -- noisy and heavy.
As always, they jangled as he walked, twisting together and banging against his chest. Ghost didn't mind. He was preoccupied by some news one of the loner gossips had given him and was looking for his sister to tell her about it -- with a little luck, she wasn't in one of her impossible girly moods and would actually come to the noise, instead of running off to moon over some tom.
Ghost knew that this particular Twoleg garden was a preferred haunt of his sister's, and jumped the fence without a second thought --
To land a few feet away from not one, but two cats, whose muzzles were separated only by an inch of air.
"Canary!" Ghost's voice was angry, almost disgusted. "The hell are you doing?" He stalked over to the pair of them, stiff-legged, and shoved his face into the black tom's. "I don't know what you want with my sister," he hissed, "but I don't want you touching her, understand?"
Ghost was a small cat, maybe half the black tom's size, but he was tough and he knew it. He was perfectly willing to pick a fight with anyone -- win or lose -- if that was what it took to make his point.

Canary's heart was pounding loudly and her breathing was heavy, but all of this ceased when she heard a nearby jangling. Her breath caught in her throat. She looked over to see that her brother, Ghost, had hopped over the fence and found her and Demon together.
It was annoying how much he tried to protect her. It wasn't like she was younger than him or anything. Also, his acquiring of a second necklace wasn't something she was happy with. Just looking at the metal charm around his neck made her fuming mad.
"Ghost, go away. This is none of your business!" She spat, moving to Demon's side. "Go find some other cat to pick a fight with." It seemed as though all her brother did lately was pick fights with other cats.

A frown came to his lips, and thought fake, it seemed so real. "My, I forgot how siblings snatched their siblings from want they want." The tom was smaller, much smaller; he could kill him if he wanted. And though the thought of tasting blood sent a thrill through him, he resisted; later, or another time. Fighting now may scare away his prey.
"I comprehend your paranoia," Demon paused, glancing at Canary as she came to his side, "But your sister is safe with me." Overprotective toms always bothered him, sickened him. And anyone else who got in his way, he developed a burning desire to kill them. But, he would have to be patient for the time being. Forcing his body to remain relaxed, his smirk slightly returned.
Oh, his cover could be blown here, but did he really care? No. It was just like a hunt. The sheep are pathetic, yet even the wolf may fail.

Ghost's eyes narrowed, as first Canary, then Demon spoke out in their own defense. His green eyes bored into Demon's silver ones, but he took a slow step back.
Hang on. Silver eyes? There's stories about a nasty black cat with silver eyes.
He couldn't be sure this was the same cat, but -- neither could he be sure it wasn't. Still defensive, but a little calmer, the small white tom sat down near the two of them, tail wrapped around his paws. He was now determined to ferret to the bottom of this, split the pair up if possible, and generally make himself a nuisance to the two of them.
"You still haven't told me what you two were doing together," he said, flatly. To Demon, "I'm not sure I've seen you around before. Who are you?"

Canary inched even closer to Demon, glaring at her brother. She was so sick of his protective behavior. He always had to know what she was doing. She couldn't stand it anymore. "Ghost, I'm tired of you treating me like this. I'm not a little kit anymore.....and you know what else?" She sighed heavily, then continued, "You aren't dad, so stop trying to be!"
The young cat couldn't believe she was actually saying it. Ever since they had ran off, Ghost had tried to take a parental control over her. It was so annoying! She was the same age as him. He had no right to tell her what to do and butt into her life. "Just leave.....and I'll take care of myself from now on."
