So, I have all these random characters mentioned in my kitties' profiles. Most of them are not, and never will be played by me. But I really do think it's such a waste to let them rot, especially when I didn't make excuses and kill them off and some of them would be really fantastic for the plot.
If you're stuck on charrie ideas or just plain like one of these cats, feel free to give it a shot. Post up a profile for them under the character applications and I'll give it a look -- but mind, I'm gonna be pretty picky!
What I'm not looking for with these is for you to spit back the basics I'm giving you with a couple extra words thrown in. I want you to take my ideas and build on them; I'd rather pick a well-thought-out detailed tangent than an exactly-what-I-was-thinking with nothing creative tacked on. Make sense?
So, with no further ado, here's the kitties.
Fireclaws -- this tom is Patchstar's brother. Early on in his life he was always one-up from Patchstar, but as life went on he found himself falling further and further behind in the competition. I decided it would be more interesting to have a competitive disgruntled elder brother lurking in the background than to kill him off like I did Talonfall -- you never know what trouble he might get into.
Darktalon -- Patchstar's son and Starredmyst's brother, this is the cat that would most likely take on as leader after Patchstar's death, minus StarClan's little plot. I'd really love to see him in the roleplay; there's a ton you can do with him and I'd love to see how he gets on with the rest of the Clan. I'd imagine him to be a bit like his dead uncle Talonfall; clever and charismatic, a bit dark and reserved, handsome, talented at most everything and very popular with the Clan, but with mysterious motives and a lot of planning behind his moves.
Silversoul -- this is the sister of Patchstar's dead mate, mother to my apprentice Nightpaw. She's a pretty white-silver she-cat with a no-nonsense tone of voice. I think of her as motherly in a "You're-going-to-eat-your-food-and-like-it" sort of way.
Baypaw -- Nightpaw's sister. I really have no idea about her, except her fur is a tannish sort of ginger (think 'sand'...) and she's kind of bossy. Someone you can play with, I guess. She was originally Bayfur on an ancient "family tree" I made of Nightpaw and his descendants.
Viperpaw -- Nightpaw's brother. Again, I don't know much about this guy -- I used him once, ages ago, but I've since lost the link to the forum, which is dead anyway, so I can't remember. He was a darkish brown, I think maybe, and with a bit of a nasty temper. Originally he was Viperfang, from the same family tree I found Bayfur on.
Fleetrunner -- Okay. You're going to have to do a really, really good job at the profile for me to give away this character. She's got a lot of potential to be something interesting, but she's also not a part of the Clan. Fleetrunner is Patchstar's flamboyant, ambitious sister, who killed their brother Talonfall after he played traitor to Patchstar and then left the Clan, because she knew she would likely have done the same. I see her as a charismatic, bold, intelligent sort of she-cat, and I have no idea whatsoever for how she looks. Again, you'd really have to play your cards right for me to give her away, and be a bit creative about how and why she's coming back to the Clan.
Aurawind - Patchstar's aunt, lol. I mentioned her offhand on Redstar's profile (made him in SC so he could help make Patchy go insane xD) because Redstar needed sibs and thought, '...what the hey. Like 50 bazillion of the other charries on this profile are dead and I like her name, so she's gonna live.' She'd be an elder, umm...upwards of 70 moons? Lesee...Redstar was 65 moons when Talon and Patchy were 20, and Patchy is 47 moons now so she'd be...yikes. 82 moons? That's...almost 7 years old? Old kitty, for a feral one. I think she'd be crotchety just by virtue of coming from the leader's family and being like ancient. Other than that, she's yours.
