Ashpaw crouched, her belly fur barely above the ground, all of her senses directed towards the little flash of movement in front of her. It was a mouse. She didn't dare move a muscle, even twitch a whisker for fear of giving herself away. She watched the mouse as it poked it's head out from under fallen leaf, and them pulled it's whole body out into the open, and then she pounced. Ashpaw sank her teeth into it, killing it in one swift bite, and then burried, planning to come back later.
